Colourful, Crochet, Toothy Fish Hat- Rainbow Stout

Description

Rainbow Stout is a bold, broad-headed fish with a mouthful of teeth! Rows of crocodile-stitch-ish scales in spectrum order on his body are set off by his great big, gleaming, white teeth and pink-variegated-with-rainbow-tones head. I reckon he’s a nocturnal bottom-dweller- those bright colours and huge, boggly eyes simply shout, ‘weird marine critter found in a very deep ocean trench’.

Rainbow Stout has very large teeth of assorted sizes and shapes, sprouting from hot pink gums. He loves to clamp those fangs and full lips around a human head. But don’t worry- he’s no piranha! According to those teeth, he’s probably an omnivore, with sharp, pointy canines and squarer incisors.

Those impressive teeth will fit around most noggins up to about 60cm/23”.

His dorsal and tail fins are wired and pose-able, while his ochre-and-purple eyeballs are filled with washable synthetic padding.

Rainbow Stout is a unique piece of wearable Art, designed and robustly crocheted by myself. No patterns were harmed, or even used in his making.

He is made from a combination of natural and synthetic yarns. The predominant variegated pink yarn is a beautifully soft, slightly shiny, slightly fuzzy, mainly-wool-mix. So, while he likes a swim, not in hot water, please! He can be handwashed and rinsed in lukewarm water, then rolled in a towel to gently squeeze out excess moisture, and laid flat to dry. Please do not bleach, machine wash or tumble dry him.

Shipping-
I use Australia Post and usually send out parcels within 24 hours, except on weekends and public holidays, when the post office is closed.

I ship parcels with a tracking number to destinations which allow for tracking- that includes Aus,NZ, US and UK.

Shipping to the US/UK should take about a week to ten days, but unfortunately shipping delays can happen sometimes. If that’s the case, let me know and I can follow up the parcel’s progress from this end and keep buyers informed.

Australians- at present I’m sending all parcels within Australia by Express Post, to make sure they arrive as quickly and safely as possible.
