Devilish Rainbow Stubby Horned Colourful Crochet Beanie

This cute and vivid, yellow, orange, black and purple beanie accented with a rainbow petal motif and little rainbow-coloured horns is deceptively simple, soft and warm. It features bright, padded, rainbow toned horns.

The main coloured yarn in the crown is variegated from yellow to orange, so it shades subtly from top to bottom. That bright background is enlivened with a velvety black petal motif in tapestry or entarsia crochet, while a fine, single-stitch-width rainbow progresses from red to purple just one stitch inside the edge of the coloured sections. There is a lot of finesse in this design! Five, three dimensional bobbles in variegated orange/red/purple sprout around the base of the crown, above the fuzzy, deep purple band.

That broad purple band at the base of the crown is beautifully soft and furry, and sets of the bright yellow tones perfectly. The outer edging row uses two yarns, crocheted together- a rainbow-variegated feathers yarn, and a green designer yarn which has little fluttering ‘tags’ plied along its length. This helps to keep the beanie securely in place.

The rainbow-striped horns are joined to the hat with the same rainbow feathers yarn as appears in that edge. They are padded with washable, synthetic fill.

The Devilish Rainbow beanie will fit most, but is best suited to cuddle and adorn a medium to large cranium of up to about 61cm/23.25”.

It is a unique, individual piece of wearable Art headgear, designed and crocheted by myself. No patterns were harmed, or even used in its making. It is robustly constructed of good quality materials, so should give the owner years of enjoyable wear.

The Devilish Rainbow is made from an eclectic collection of synthetic fibres, so please wash and rinse the hat gently (woolwash is recommended), then roll in a towel to gently squeeze out excess moisture, and dry flat. Do not bleach or tumble dry.

Shipping-
Buyers will have a tracking number to keep tabs on their parcel’s progress via the Australia Post website. (I usually send the tracking number by email or message just after the parcel is posted.)

I use Australia Post and post parcels within 24 hours, except on weekends and public holidays, when the post office is closed. Shipping to the US/UK should take about ten days, but unfortunately shipping delays can happen sometimes. If that’s the case, let me know and I can follow up the parcel’s progress from this end and keep buyers informed. Where possible, I’m using express/priority shipping etc. (at no cost to customers) for the most reliable delivery.

Australians- I’m presently using Express shipping within Australia to do my best to get parcels delivered as fast as possible.
