Description
The front of this useful handmade bag has an idyllic, embroidered and appliqued rural scene with embroidered flowers, trees and a butterfly in the foreground, and blue sky, hills and clouds in the background. It has a waterproof canvas lining, perfect for protecting electronic devices.
This bag is all about detail- nifty features that will make this bag a much-loved and used accessory. It would be great as a handbag, but also equally handy for carrying a tablet, iPad or mobile phone. I could also see it being ideal for pencils, knitting needles and/or crochet hooks etc.
The back has a handy, full-width pocket, (olive, teal and brown batik pure cotton outer with waveform embroidery and deeper blue and brown lining fabrics). This back pocket closes securely with a metal press stud. The top of the bag has a zip closure with a little oval silver-toned dangle on the zipper pull.
The sturdy and durable blue shoulder strap has plenty of room for adjustment from about 69cm/27” to 132cm/52”.
The bag itself is rectangular, approx. 26cm/10” deep by 16cm/6.5” wide. It is not completely flat- it is approx. 2.5cm/1” thick.
The Butterfly Country II bag is made of pure cotton, waterproof canvas, a metal-toothed zipper, sturdy metal fittings and a synthetic strap so it is washable and durable.

Butterfly Country II was handmade by Lorraine Wiseman, from high quality materials. It is the second in a series of bags in this theme. Each of them are different, functional, useful and unique.
Shipping-
We use Australia Post and usually send out parcels within 24 hours, except on weekends and public holidays when the local post office is closed. Shipping to the US/UK should take about a week to ten days, but unfortunately shipping delays can happen sometimes.
Tracking-
Parcels to destinations which allow for tracking will have a tracking number so buyers can check on their parcel’s progress online. Destinations which allow tracking include Australia, the US and UK, Canada and New Zealand.
Australians-
We are presently using Express shipping within Australia to do my best to get parcels delivered as quickly and reliably as possible.
