New Cerublu!
This is the first blog post on our brand new website! We’ll be posting more as we have news to share, or to showcase a special artwork in progress- like Lisa’s murals or Lorraine’s exquisite Art quilts. As a fun bonus to this post, there’s also an online jigsaw made from Lisa’s Commer painting (below).
But meanwhile… For our friends who may have been wondering what has become of Cerublu Studio, formerly located at Morpeth and Dungog- we, that is Lisa and Lorraine Wiseman, are still making things, but we’ve closed our bricks and mortar studio and are in the process of building an online shop here on our new website.
We’re adding all our customers’ favourites; wild crochet, handpainted clothing, accessories and glassware and paintings by Lisa. And clothing which fits and flatters, totes and other bags, embroidery and applique and quilts by Lorraine.
Our Cerublu Facebook page is still in existence, and we do add items of interest to it- what we’re working on, commissions, that sort of thing. There’s also a shop there and as we add items to our shop here, they will automatically be added to the Cerublu Facebook shop.
And Lisa’s etsy shop is still there, and gives an interesting retrospective in the ‘Sold Items’. But for now we’re concentrating on just adding new items for sale to this site and the Cerublu Facebook shop, rather than etsy.
Of course we’re also still available to take custom orders and commissions- most recently Lorraine has completed two gorgeous, commissioned space-themed Art quilts with design collaboration by Lisa. If you have an idea for something you would like to see us make real, please contact us or use the form below to get in touch.
We hope you’ll enjoy visiting our new site. It is definitely a work in progress, so please bear with us as we get it all sorted. The next steps are to add more Gallery images and fill the shop with fabulous things, so please drop back to watch the site grow!
